An open letter to NEAS and the PAC staff:
My wife and I deeply regret not being able to attend PAC this year; my wife fell seriously ill and needed sudden hospitalization.
I write this simply to reiterate how much we were looking forward to this event, and to ask that our absence not be taken into account in any future NEAS discussions about whether to continue PAC for another year (given what I suspect was a modest attendance overall).
Thank you for your attention. Hope to see you all at AB '09.
