When you convince a friend to register for PAC, you can earn a $5 referral bonus! When you arrive at PAC, we'll hand you $5 for everyone you referred (up to 10 people, $50 maximum) as thanks. All your friends have to do is enter your e-mail address as the referrer so that we know you referred them.
Full details on our referral program can be found in our Registration FAQ...but that's the gist.
So, get out there! Tell your friends about PAC! Get them to come join the fun and you'll get $5 for every person you get to register (again, up to $50).
As far as I know, this is the first time any convention has ever offered any sort of referral program. Hopefully, a lot of you will be able to benefit from it.

I will try my best to get more people to register! But.. the idea of "convincing a friend" doesn't exactly give me warm fuzzies about the current attendance numbers..

We figured that a lot of people will only go to conventions if their friends are going...so this is a good way to reward people who refer their friends.

I've been trying to pimp this con to my out-of-state buddies for a while now, too, but the timing on it is just unfortunate for them - not long after Dragon*Con, not far off from AUSA... it's tough for them to squeeze in traveling to another convention. I'll keep trying, though!
